New York Giants

Established in 1925

The New York Giants were founded in 1925 and are one of the oldest teams in the NFL.1)

Named "Football Giants"

They were officially called the New York Football Giants to avoid confusion with the baseball team of the same name.2)

First NFL Championship (1927)

The Giants won their first NFL title in 1927, dominating opponents with a defense that allowed just 20 points all season.3)

Historic Polo Grounds
