The figure is dressed in an American flag outfit. Cap also possesses an almost unbreakable shield, which he frequently tosses about. The shield is essentially composed of three components: steel alloy, vibranium, and an unknown component. 5)

He is Steve Rogers' alter ego. During WWII, Steve Rogers was a fragile, little young man who was augmented with an experimental serum. 6)
Trapped In Ice
Captain America was trapped in ice towards the conclusion of World War II, where he stayed until he was resurrected in the present day. 7)
First Appearance On TV
With the debut of the 1944 film “Captain America,” Captain America became the first Marvel Comics superhero to appear in media other than comic books. The character went on to appear in many of other films and television shows. 8)
