Francis likes Tango

As a young child, one of Pope Francis' favorite interests was to go dancing with friends. He also had a favorite dance. “I love to tango and I used to dance when I was young,” the Pope said in El Jesuita's biography. 2)

He hasn't watched TV since 1990

Pope Francis has not watched television since 15 June 1990, when he made a vow to the Virgin Mary that he would abstain. As a result, he barely saw San Lorenzo-a football team he helped as a boy-play, preferring to keep up with the team through newspaper coverage. 3)

He used to work as a nightclub bouncer
